Yesterday and today have been one of the most amazing weekends I have ever had and I am still on such a high from receiving my medal this morning!
I have so much I want to say and plan on getting a blog post up asap before things get too wedding crazy around here later on in the week.
But for now these pictures will have to do!
I was a sobbing wreck as I came across the finish line and there was no way I would have been able to do it without the huge array of support from my running friends and Dan. But I did it! And now hold the record for the furthest distance ran by a female in our club!
Congratulations that is wonderful! You totally rock, I can’t fathom running that kind of distance. Hope you continue to enjoy the buzz, looking forward to your full recap. Hope all the wedding preparations are going well too!
Thank you! I’m still high on the buzz…Everyone keeps asking about the wedding and I keep changing the conversation to the 70 miler instead! ๐
Well done! Can’t wait to read the full recap.

It’s on it’s way…!
I can’t believe how fresh and amazing you look at the end after running so far and being awake for so long! It was beyond lovely to see you and to be a part of your incredible achievement, even in a small way. It will be so interesting to read your recap of the race

I’m pretty sure John only showed me the best photos! My lip was quivering the whole final straight towards the finish and I’m sure he took many more than the select few he sent over on Saturday afternoon!
It was great meeting you properly finally as well and chatting to you for several miles towards the end of your race. I’ll write more about this in your blog comments though. ๐
I’ve been thinking through my recap over the past day and a half and I think I’m finally ready to try and put it into words now…but it’s going to take me a while!
Well done!! An amazing thing to do
Can’t wait to read the re-cap!

Proud, shocked and so thankful of everyone that helped me to get there!
You are AMAZING! I can’t believe you’ve done it whilst wedding planning too – you seriously rock! I barely ran last summer while planning my wedding.
